This week we had the pleasure of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for Saint Alphonsus’s new Advanced Cancer Care Center in Nampa, Idaho.
St Alphonsus has seen more than a 20 percent jump in the number of cancer patients who are currently having to travel to either Boise or Caldwell for their oncology treatments.
“What this is going to do is bring a final component into cancer care, which is radiation oncology. And that brings it all to a one-stop-shop for patients,” said Travis Leach, the president of Saint Alphonsus in Nampa. “You don’t have to travel all across the Valley finding different places to access care. It brings it all to one stop, one place.”
